Math games to practice math facts:
War:
Use a deck of playing cards (without face cards and jokers) and split in half between two players. The player does not look at their stack cards. Both players lay down one card at the same time face up. The first player to multiply the two numbers and calls out the answer, wins that pair of cards. The pair of cards go in a separate stack until all cards have been used. The player with the most cards at the end, wins the game.
You can also add or subtract the two numbers that are laid down.
Be sure to practice current and previous math skills using our GoMath! link that you will find under Student Links on our school website.
